Sergio Ramos is already speaking as a PSG player. A few minutes after the French side made his signing official, the former Real Madrid captain took to his official social networks to post a strong message.
“The best place to keep dreaming, the best club to keep winning. We’re going to fight with everything and for everything,” the Sevilla centre-back posted.
It is now official. After the signing of Sergio Ramos was leaked by mistake on the Parisian club’s website on Wednesday, the French side have now officially announced it this Thursday.
The former Real Madrid captain has been presented as a star by Paris Saint-Germain, with whom he has signed on a free transfer for two seasons, after spending a total of 16 years in the Spanish capital.
A few minutes after PSG announced his signing, the Sevilla centre-back took to his official Twitter account to post his first message as a Parisian player.
“The best place to keep dreaming, the best club to keep winning. We’re going to fight with everything and for everything. Allez PSG,” Ramos posted, a message he also wrote in French and English, along with a picture of himself in a Paris shirt.
Elegant, with his hair tied back and dressed in a blue suit, white shirt and tie in the same shade as the Paris shirt – all in keeping with the colours of his new club – Ramos poses smiling in the French jersey. On it, appears the year until which he has signed, 2023. Ramos will wear the number 4 shirt in Paris.
